Tính từ + to V

1Khái niệm

Nhiều tính từ đi với to + V: easy, hard, nice, glad, pleased, surprised, afraid, the first, the last… Một số tính từ có hai cấu trúc với nghĩa khác nhau, ví dụ afraid to do và afraid of doing.

2Khi nào dùng

• Nhận xét một việc: It's + tính từ + to V.

  It's easy to make mistakes.

• Cảm xúc: be + tính từ + to V.

  I'm glad to see you.

• the first / the last / the only + to V.

  She was the first to arrive.

  Thiếu to.

  Chủ ngữ đã là this book, không thêm it.

• ✗ I'm happy for to meet you.

  ✓ I'm happy to meet you.

  Không dùng for to.

• ✗ It's important that students to practise.

  ✓ It's important for students to practise.

  Cấu trúc: It's + adj + for + người + to V.
