Câu hỏi tường thuật dùng quy tắc lùi thì và đổi đại từ, thời gian như câu tường thuật, nhưng dùng trật tự câu trần thuật và không có dấu hỏi. Câu hỏi Yes/No dùng if/whether; câu hỏi Wh- giữ nguyên từ để hỏi.
Reported questions follow the same rules of tense, pronoun and time changes as reported statements, but use statement word order and no question mark. Yes/no questions are introduced by if or whether and wh- questions keep their question word.
