Although, Though and Even Though

Although, though, even though nối hai mệnh đề trái ngược. Even though nhấn mạnh hơn; though thân mật hơn và có thể đứng cuối câu. Theo sau là mệnh đề đầy đủ, không dùng but trong cùng câu.

These conjunctions introduce a contrast between two clauses. Even though is more emphatic, though is more informal, and though can also come at the end of a sentence.

Followed by a full clause with subject and verb
The clause can come first or second
Do not use but together with although in the same sentence

Although he studied hard, he failed the test.
We enjoyed the trip, even though it rained every day.
The food was good. The service was slow, though.
