Wish/if only + would diễn tả sự bực bội về hành vi của người khác hoặc mong muốn có thay đổi; wish/if only + could diễn tả khả năng hoặc sự cho phép giả định. Thường không dùng I wish I would ... (dùng could).
Wish/if only + would expresses annoyance about someone else's behaviour or a wish for a change. Wish/if only + could expresses a hypothetical ability or permission now or in the future.

- Would is not normally used when the subject of wish and would is the same person (not I wish I would ...)
- Use could instead when talking about yourself
